The safety and wellbeing of our patients during the COVID-19 outbreak is our priority. At this time, testing is recommended for and limited to patients as follows:
- Patients with a respiratory illness and serious underlying health conditions like immunosuppression, COPD, heart failure or diabetes with major complications, OR
- Patients with respiratory illness with breathing distress, chest pain or dehydration from poor intake.
If you are having chest pain or difficulty breathing, please call 911 and/or seek care at an Emergency Department. Other patients should contact their PCP office prior to seeking care. The MA Department of Public Health and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) state that most mild respiratory infections can be managed over the phone and with care measures at home. Your PCP can advise you if you need to see a healthcare provider. Emergency Department services are reserved for the sickest, highest-risk patients. We will continue to update this page as recommendations change. Call your PCP office with any questions or concerns.

Telemedicine Services During COVID-19
For the health and safety of our patients and providers, we are now offering telemedicine visits with our primary care, behavioral health and select specialist providers. Patients should contact their provider’s office to ask if a telemedicine visit via a computer or phone is best for them.
Note that insurance copays will be waived for COVID-19 related visits, but copays may still apply for visits covering other concerns. If you have any new concerns or any questions about COVID-19, please contact your physician’s office and we will advise you on your care.
